Workspaces

What a Workspace is and how billing and agent seats work.

A Workspace represents your Slack Workspace where the Treqdesk app is installed. It serves as the top-level container for all your support teams, tickets, and configurations.

Billing and Limits

When you install Treqdesk, your workspace is automatically assigned a Billing Plan.

Currently, Treqdesk offers two plans:

  • Free Plan: Ideal for small teams getting started.
  • Pro Plan: For scaling teams requiring more capacity. (Available with monthly or yearly billing cycles)

The plan your workspace is on directly dictates your usage limits:

Ticket Quotas: The maximum number of tickets your workspace can generate in a given month.

Agent Seats: The maximum number of distinct human operators (agents) that can be active across all your Support Teams.

Agent Seats Explained

An "Agent" is a human operator who answers tickets.

  • Agents are tracked at the Workspace level.
  • A single person can be an agent on multiple different Support Teams simultaneously, but they only consume one Agent Seat in your workspace billing quota.

Ready to set up your team?

Once your Workspace is connected, the next step is to configure who answers the tickets. Read the Support Teams Concept to understand how routing is organized.
