Billing & Plans
Treqdesk offers two plans. You choose during onboarding and can switch anytime.

Checking your usage
Navigate to the Treqdesk App Home in Slack and click the Billing & Seats button inside the Workspace Summary section. (Alternatively, you can type the /billing slash command). A modal opens showing:
- Current plan — Free or Pro
- Monthly ticket usage — how many tickets you've created this billing cycle and how many remain
- Agent seats — current seats used vs. your seat limit
- Subscription status — Active, Inactive, or details about your billing period
- Manage Seats button — (Pro only) modify your agent seat quota (since the customer portal does not allow changing seats directly).
- Customer Portal link — (Pro only) opens the payment portal to update payment methods or view invoices.
The monthly ticket counter resets at the start of each billing cycle. On the Free plan, that's the first of every month.
Upgrading to Pro
Click Upgrade to Pro
Navigate to the Treqdesk App Home and click the Upgrade to Pro button in the Workspace Summary section. This opens a configuration modal right inside Slack.
Choose plan details
Select whether you want to be billed Monthly or Yearly, and specify the total number of Agent seats your team needs. Once configured, click to open the checkout flow via our secure payment portal.
Complete payment
Follow the checkout instructions to provide payment details and complete your purchase.
Plan activates immediately
Once payment is confirmed:
- Your plan switches to Pro
- Ticket limits are removed
- Agent seat limit updates to your purchased quantity
- Subscription status shows as "Active"
Only the workspace Owner can initiate an initial upgrade from Free to Pro. Agents and Members see the billing info but cannot initiate the upgrade.
Managing your Pro subscription
For workspaces on the Pro plan, users with the Owner or Admin role will see two buttons in the Billing & Seats modal:
- Manage Seats: Click this to add or remove agent seats.
- Customer Portal: Click this to open the secure payment portal where you can update your payment method, view past invoices, or cancel your subscription.
What happens when limits are hit
Free plan — ticket limit
When you've created 25 tickets in the current month:
- New 🎫 reactions are blocked
- The user who reacted sees an ephemeral error explaining the limit
- Existing tickets continue to work normally
- The counter resets at the start of the next month
Agent seat limit
When you try to add a new agent and you've hit your seat limit:
- The
/manage-teammodal blocks the addition - An error shows your current seat count vs. limit
- You can remove agents from other teams to free up seats, or upgrade
Agent seats count unique users across all support teams. If the same person is an agent on three teams, they consume one seat.
